The all-electric car, the first in the EQ sub-brand, uses two asynchronous electric motors, one for each axle, and offers a potential total output of 300kW and 765Nm. The rear motor will act as the muscle for more strenuous activities, such as towing (with a capacity of up to 1800kg) while the front is designed for efficient energy use in day-to-day driving.
The EQC is capable hitting 100km/h in 5.1 seconds, while top speed is limited to 180km/h.
